Variance Request Regarding Lot 92 Ambiance
To all interested parties – The Brandon Board of Aldermen will conduct a public hearing on June 2, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the Brandon Municipal Complex, Board Room, 1000 Municipal Drive, Brandon, MS to receive citizen input regarding a variance request of C Cubed, Inc (the property owner) to reduce the minimum required front, corner side and rear yard setback dimensions by five feet. This request is in regard to construction of new single-family dwelling on lot # 92 Ambiance Phase 1, parcel # I9N-1-92. A variance is required because the minimum required setback dimensions, in accordance with the approved final plat and subdivision covenants, are 25 feet on the front and corner side, 30 feet on the rear and 5 feet on the interior side. The applicant proposes to reduce the front and corner side setback from 25 feet to 20 feet and the rear setback from 30 feet to 25 feet.

Rezoning Request of McDonald’s Corporation
To all interested parties – The Brandon Board of Aldermen conducted a public hearing on June 17, 2013, regarding a rezoning request of McDonald’s Corporation to rezone a 1.171 acre tract subdivided from parcel # I8K-68 located at the southeast corner of intersection Hwy 80 (East Government St) and Louis Wilson Drive from R-4 High Density Residential District to C-2 Central Commercial District for the purpose of new construction of a McDonald’s Restaurant. This public hearing was continued until the Board of Alderman meeting on July 15, 2013; however, McDonald’s has requested to withdraw until further notice. Updates will be posted here as they become available.
