Dear Esteemed Residents of Brandon,
My name is Amanda Tolstad and I am here to serve you and the needs of this community.
As the Director of Community Development and Planning I am dedicated to fostering a safe, highly desirable and picturesque natural and built environment that enhances the quality of life for the community residents and visitors.
The community development department strives to provide the highest-quality current and long-range planning, zoning, code enforcement and building construction services to the community. The Department takes pride in providing friendly and efficient public service. The provision of public information and the processing of applications will be completed in an accurate and consistent manner, and in compliance with the City's Comprehensive Plan, Municipal Code, Building and Fire Codes, and state and federal laws.
Like you, I have invested interest in our great city. My Husband and I became residents in December 2006 and my children attend the public school system. The well being of our community is my utmost concern and I will put forth my best effort to move our City forward. It is my honor to be in a position to help grow and shape the future of Brandon for all our current and future residents.
