Golf Tournament at Patrick Farms. Lunch is at noon. Shotgun is at 1:00pm.
May 2nd
Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast at First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall at 7:00 am. Special guests include: Pastor Scott Thomas and Miss Mississippi Kimberly Morgan. Tickets are $5 each and are available at City Hall. For more information, please call (601) 825-5021. (A limited amount of spaces are available)
May 3rd
The Miss Brandon Pageant is at 10:00 am at the Brandon High School Multi-Purpose room on Hwy 18. Winners will be introduced at Brandon Day. For more information, please contact Amanda Alman at 601-946-4271. (Ages 0-18)
May 8th
Brandon Day festival begins at Shiloh Park! Carnival Rides, Arts-n-Crafts, Softball/Baseball Tournaments, Great Food and Fun!
May 9th
Carnival Rides, Arts-n-Crafts, Softball/Baseball Tournaments, Great Food and Fun! Free seniors concert and dance featuring Memory Lane from 1pm-3pm at the pavilion. Free concert by local bands. Concert begins at 7:00pm.
May 10th
Local Entertainment Show, Carnival Rides, Arts-n-Crafts, Space Jumps, Softball/Baseball Tournaments, and Randy Travis & Jake Owen in concert! Gates open at 5:00 pm and concert begins at 7:00 pm. Following the concert is a large Fireworks Extravaganza! Tickets to Saturday’s concert are $15 in advance and $20 day of show and are available at Brandon City Hall, Brandon Police Department and BeBop Records.

The City of Brandon's largest annual event is scheduled for May 8-10th 2008 at Shiloh Park. The Brandon Day festivities will be preambled by a Golf Tournament on May 1st and the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast on May 2nd. This year's main entertainment will be Randy Travis and Jake Owen.
Carnival rides, arts and crafts and food vendors will be open starting Thurday, May 8th.A special event for senior citizens will take place on Friday May 9th at the Shiloh Park Pavilion from 1pm - 3pm where Memory Lane will perform. On the evening of Friday May 9th local entertainment will take the stage for a free open air concert. Saturday May 10th local talent will entertain all day in the pavilion. Gates will open for the main concert at 5:00pm and the concert will begin at 7:00pm.
