The City of Brandon Storm Center only sounds sirens for the City Limits of Brandon. The City of Brandon sounds the outdoor warning sirens for Brandon when the National Weather Service in Pearl issues a Tornado Warning for Rankin County that includes the City limits of Brandon in the polygon based warning. If the Polygon does not include the City limits of Brandon we do not sound our sirens. Rankin County is responsible for areas outside the Municipilities of Rankin County including the Reservoir area that has a Brandon address.
