 Just in time for Spring Gardens…

 

 The City of Brandon will be giving out leaf mulch on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the city shop located at 401 North Street.  The city will load trucks, trailers or buckets with mulch between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.  If you have any questions, please call the Public Works Department at 601-824-4579.

  *No mulch will be given away for retail sales.** 

 

  Residential Curbside Leaf Pickup will end on Friday, March 16, 2012. 

   

Mississippians Urged to Prepare for Fall Tornado Season

The National Weather Service is trying to obtain information from the public on which methods of warning for severe weather such as tornadoes are preferred or most beneficial to the general public.  Please follow the link below to participate in this survey.

Residential Leaf Pick-Up will begin November 14, 2011.  Leaves need to be raked to the curb free of any limbs or debris.  You may bag your leaves for pickup by Waste Management.  Please contact the Public Works Department at 601-824-4579 to schedule pick up or send email to cgoolsby@ci.brandon.ms.us

 Water Application  - A completed water application, a $100.00 meter deposit, a copy of ID, and a copy of proof of service address are required in order to set up service.  All rental houses are required to pay a $50.00 rental inspection fee and have a rental inspection completed through the Community Development Department before water service may be established.
