The City of Brandon Parks and Recreation Department encourages residents to take advantage of the variety of parks, programs and facilities that it provides. The park system in Brandon has a total of 6 community parks encompassing a total of 140 acres of dedicated parkland.

  • City Park (located behind the City Library)
  • Bill Vance Park (located behind the Armory on Hwy. 468)
  • Crimson Lane Park (located off Louis Wilson Road on Crimson Lane)Diamond Street (located behind the County Jail)
  • Ponderosa Park (located off Apple ridge Road)

Athletic Programs-The City of Brandon offers various youth athletic programs in addition to adult athletic programs. These include youth baseball, youth and adult softball, youth flag and tackle football.  

Non-Athletic Programs-The City of Brandon offers various non-athletic programs such as summer camps, art and family programs.
